Cape Advisors completed a redevelopment of the Star Inn in 2003. The Star Inn is a sprawling beach-house-style inn and is ideally located half a block from the beach. The 21 guest rooms have spacious interiors and comfortable, upholstered armchairs, plush beds and bathrooms with Aveda amenities. Families often choose one of the 10 efficiencies — each with its own kitchenette and set among gardens and a private backyard (for the first floor) and balconies with rocking chairs (on the second floor). The Star’s pair of two-bedroom Carriage Houses have full-length decks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Overall, the 21 room motel and inn operates as a “younger”, more hip sibling to Congress Hall with integrated services and amenities offered at an affordable price. Cape Advisors’ former subsidiary, Cape Resorts Group, manages the property.
